SPRING GIVEAWAY!

Time change and warmer weather = EASTER right around the corner! I've been doing some sewing but when it comes time to do the stuffing, I conveniently find other things to occupy my time. In my house, that's not difficult to do! I got these fellows finished over the weekend; just need to paint them and add a bow. The packaging is what makes them look like real chocolate Bunnies. Sending some of these to the Gold Coast Humane Society for there 'Bun Fest'. The rest I'll put in my Etsy shop.
I've also been working on 'planting' some bunnies in baskets.
I should have these guys done today.
My Sassy Ladys seem to be drawing a bit of interest. Thought I'd make a Breast Cancer Awareness one.
Also one I call 'American Guns'.
These are available in my Etsy shop. (My badge is on the right sidebar.)
I love to shop at JoAnn's and seems like every time I do, they have these sweet boxes on sale.

I loved this one and thought I'd fill it up with some Spring paraphernalia and hand made goodies for a lucky Follower.
My rules aren't really rules at all. Just leave me a comment and a way to contact you. I would appreciate any SHARING you might do but it isn't required for this. I do have to make this Giveaway contingent only in the good 'ole US of A due to the expense of shipping.
Keeping this Giveaway open until March 21st (Saturday) at which time I'll post a winner that morning. (EST)
Hope Spring is on it's way to you!
Thanks for following!

Wishing Time Would Stand Still?!

Seriously, I've lost a whole month! Well, 2 now that February is almost over! Tired from Christmas celebrations and SUPER busy with orders throughout January, I found myself exhausted. Thankfully, I only had 1 other order to finish with 3 weeks to do it in so I was able to take some time off. I haven't been able to sit down once with my oil paints in the last year and that's weighing heavy on me. My thoughts have gone all the way to, "is it time to stop all of this" to, "I'll just take a year off". After getting a week and a-half off with no orders, I was feeling a bit more rested and ready to start again. Once again I found myself with several more orders to finish throughout February and, again, needing to put my feet up.

Our OFG Team on Etsy is having a new Celebration; The "Colors of Spring".

I've got a new line of scarves called "Sassy Lady(s)" that I'm debuting. They are made from bandanas and are great for dressing up a T-shirt or plain blouse with a Boho and Western Wear look.  Here's a small sample:

You can find these in my Etsy shop (my mini is on the right side bar).
I've also been busy with this little guy.

He is a pattern by Crystal Martin of Twiddlebugz.
I've also got a new Teacher Gift in my shop. Just a simple block made from fencing post.
My sewing machine is out and I'm stuffing Bunnies for my donation to the Gold Coast Humane Society "Bun Fest". I participate each year as I have such an affection for Fur Balls!
I'll leave you with a recent picture of a sunset here on our Lake. Weather is gorgeous!

Looks like Spring is here to stay! Here's hoping you get to see it soon where you are.

Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, my Blogging Friends!! Yes, it's taken me a few days to get that out.
Thank goodness for 2014 finding us on the mend. We have been some sick little puppies! Thank you for all of your well wishes! I've been resting and catching naps during the day. Laziness suits me just fine! I've piles of 'this and that' sitting in my laundry crafting room. Don't judge me!
These bins are full of half-finished items that I hope to have ready for my show this Fall. I have 7 months to worry over it.
I always donate to the Humane Society's 'Bun Fest' in Stuart, Florida on our Gold Coast so Bunnies are on my mind!
I figured this year I'll send some Chocolate rabbits/Carrots in baskets. Do you have a place where you donate once a year?
Getting started on a few Nativities. I'll offer these this year in a set of 5 (manger included) with the option to add the other pieces (8). They take a while to paint. Not sure what to ask for the set. Hate to get too pricey as I know they won't sell but surely don't want to short-change myself. Any suggestions?

Making some of these now since I sold 2 sets today. 2014 started off right with me seeing sales on day one. Nice to see I'm getting noticed but don't want to generate too much work for myself (see my opening statement and the reference I made about laziness!).
Stay tuned as I've a Giveaway next week!
My best to you as you get your 2014 started! It can only be as good as WE make it!
