SEW Much Going On!

Are you like me or the other girl? Or are you both?!
*********************
I'm still trying to finish all of those UFO's that I have sitting around in bins.....very FULL bins I might add! However, that didn't stop me from sitting down at the sewing machine.
Of course, it also didn't stop me from going back out to my saws!
I bought a couple of organizers. I actually went through my 'other' organizers and managed to get rid of quite a bit of rubbish. You know, a left over piece of ribbon, etc. that you might can use on another project....that sort of thing. Well, instead of getting rid of one of the 'organizer' that's a little old and missing it's wheels, I just added these.

Yep, they're already full . The top one is for my sewing and 'almost finished' projects and the bottom for my wood pieces and odds and ends. I have a lot of those odds and ends :/
************************
Here are a few things I've managed to get done and listed in my shop.
 (Pattern by Cedar Creek Primitives)
(Pattern by Patti's Ratties)
 (Pattern by Chestnut Junction)
 (Pattern by Chestnut Junction)
(Pattern by Soft In The Head)
ALL of these pieces can be found HERE in my Etsy shop.
Our OFG Team (Old Farmhouse Gathering Team) is having a week long On-line Craft Show from Sept. 9th-16th. You can type in FIFOFG, OFG, or OFG Team in ETSY'S search bar for more fabulous work from our Team members!

I'm down to my last school order for now. Love having 1 or 2 items in my shop that sell continuously. I'm getting good at cutting them out and having them ready for painting and customizing.....especially here in this heat! Did you know we reached 100 today?! Someone please tell Mother Nature to get over the HOT flashes! I have enough for her!
Wishing you an early FALL and relief from this very long summer that we've had. CANNOT believe it's already September!
Have a great weekend!

SEW Much!

So/Sew much to show you! Not necessarily in any kind of order so bear with me!

The Frogette Sisters, Toadie and Tallula, are now in my Etsy shop! They are made from a pattern by Pam Gracia of Soft in the Head.

My guy had a birthday! He looks so tired in this pic with 3 of our 6 kids! I made him a German Chocolate cake and the daughter in the green bought him steaks and made potatoes and a lovely green salad to go with it!
This little lady is new in my Etsy shop! She's from Victoria Lynn of Kentucky Primitives.
Corny Candy! Pattern by Patties Ratties!
A little 13" Rag doll! Pattern by Sweet Meadows Farm!
I'm playing with my Creative Clay and Kwik Wood! Got a few things to show and share with you in my next post!
Everyone thinks Fall is here 'cause I'm making these left and right! It's still pretty hot here and lots of rain still coming down!
New in my Etsy from Chestnut Junction!
Our OFG (Old Farmhouse Gathering) Team is holding our Fall Celebration! Drop by Etsy and type in the letters FFFOFG in Etsy's search bar OR click on the pic on my sideboard at the top right, to see more wonderful creations from our talented team!
Elvira and Winthrop are back! Another wonderful pattern from Soft In The Head!
I'm making pumpkins of every kind to add to some of my packages. Found some Cinnamon sticks and silk florals in Hobby Lobby to top them with. Sure like the way they're turning out!
Lots more to share with you but gotta run and get some orders packaged up. Teachers are awaiting their name plates!
Thanks for stopping by!

Working....

I'm not really sure that I wanted to get started again but I seem to have found my 'groove' for now. I've been cutting out and sewing up Fall patterns. Some I already had and some I've recently bought. Have you ever heard of Chestnut Junction/Kellie Sharp? She's great and has her patterns, e-patterns, for $1.99. You can find her on Etsy if you click on the link above. I just picked up another 6 yesterday. I'm also working on some patterns from Pam Gracia of Soft In the Head.
I ventured outside away from my pool to cut some wood patterns out.
I was sweating like a pig by the time I finished and it was only 11:30 a.m. I think we reached 98 by the end of the day! It's been one of those long, hot summers for us and I'm afraid it's not even close to ending. This box of goodies is awaiting paint coverage! Lots of cute Fall designs from Renee Mullins of Plum Purdy.
These girls were 'sunning' and drying out from their bath in vanilla and cinnamon. They'll be
cute-sied up in a few more days. The pumpkins are for a different pattern.
I finished this last week but just got them photo'd.
Cute and inexpensive for a favorite Teacher. You can find it in my Etsy shop HERE.
For those of you on FaceBook, you may have already seen my pictures from the weekend. These guys turned the big "10" last Friday.
They didn't want a party because parties are for 'babies' so we took them to the beach (Jax and St. Augustine).
The weather wasn't the best but we did get some sunshine in the mornings.
Daddy taught then how to 'boogie' board and they had a blast. It was a memorable B-day and said to have been the 'Best'. Well, they say that every year but I have to agree with them this time!
School starts up on the 17th here. You'll probably hear my "YIPPEE" from where you are. I'm ready to get back into routine although not too excited about the early morning start.
It's already 4:30 p.m. and I've got 2 orders to finish so I can mail them out tomorrow so I better get moving.
Hope Summer has been good to you!

New items!

Our Esty Team is having another wonderful Celebration! I made 4 new items to go along with it.
Santa! Pattern adapted from Chestnut Junction
Chris Mouse and his Candy Cane! Pattern adapted from The Olde Country Cupboard.
"A Snowman will melt your Heart". I don't remember where this pattern came from. I've had it a really long time but I'm pretty sure it's not one of my originals. Let me know if you recognize it.
Elvin the Elf. Adapted from a pattern by The Olde Country Cupboard.
If you'd like to see more items from the Team, just go to ETSY and type in the search bar the letters BICOFG!
***************************
I finished my Pumpkins. Saved some for the kid's Teachers. I don't have them listed.
I also finished these last 2 items.
I designed the Cat and Pumpkin for my 8-11 year old girls that I teach twice a month on Wednesdays. They are like Girl Scouts but our group is called Activity Day Girls. They are so cute and LOVE to paint with me! They are quite talented, too, so that makes it even more fun to see their pieces turn out so well! I love to teach kids!
***************************
It's been beautiful here on the lake! The water has come up some but we're back in a dry spell again. We need consistent rain and Mother Nature is not so giving in the cooler months. Our local Yacht Club held their annual Sailboat Regatta on Saturday and they came in front of our place.

The weather has been gorgeous with a nice breeze coming in. The water is getting cooler now so our swimming will come to an end soon.
*************************
Woke up this a.m. to a dead battery in my Van. Typical Monday.
Hope you're having a better start!
Stay Tuned!

Back in the Blogging Lane!

Nothing like being shut down by technical devices that you have no control over. I'm not going to take you through my computer woes of the last few months.....just know I'm back!
Amy from BumbleBee Lane Cottage hosted a Christmas Swap and I received some wonderful Swap goodies from Sandi Allen of THE PRIMIVE SKATE. Here are a few pictures!

What's not to LOVE?!!! THANK YOU, Sandi! It's all just wonderful and smells soooo good! You can go over to Sandi's blog and see what I gave her, HERE!
We've been battling illness around here most of this month. Our 8 year old son has developed Cellulitis in his leg and we're dealing with that infection with recurring trips to the hospital and lots of antibiotic. Hubby and I still managed to put on a good Christmas despite all of the stress, however, a few things were placed aside such as cards, ornies, and the family letter. I figure I can send those off in another day or so.
I'm back up on my Etsy but will hold back new things for my show this year. I did make this guy for a gift though.

He's a pattern from Chestnut Junction. Can't wait to make more of these guys in various colors of reds and greens!
Here's hoping you and yours are having/had a wonderful Christmas and Happy Holidays all around! I'm enjoying all of my children (6 of them) for the next few days!

Wishing you all a wonderful New Year!
