Nature's Gift and WINNERS of Mine!!

Good morning Friends!
It is foggy and warm here in my neck o' the woods!
I was able to enjoy the sunshine yesterday with my saws and sanders. While outside talking to my neighbor who also does woodwork (furniture), we heard the familiar cackle of my favorite bird.

I was SO very excited to see him sitting low enough to get a picture with my zoom on my camera. I have been waiting for this majestic bird to come close enough to get a picture and capture his 'aura'. And I'm pretty sure I did!
Just look at him! Isn't he gorgeous! I just love this bird and am so thankful that we live on a lake and get to see and hear them as often as we do! Now I can put him on canvas. I've been wanting to for a while and have been collecting different pics of him. I've got enough reference material I think to 'make it work' as Tim would say!
I also finished my Cupid Elfin Make-Do. I think she is SOOOOO sweet! I named her Ellie after the cutest little blonde beauty that I know!
Also on my table is a mound of muslin that has been cut and sewn. Stuffing is now commencing and I may have to call in the calvary (my Mother-in-Law) to help me since I drag my feet so badly while doing this part!

I sure do appreciate all of you who participated and left me sweet comments on my Giveaway post! Thank you also to the new followers who've come from those of you posting on your sidebars. And as always, I thank those of you who've been with me since the beginning!

I've got 2 winners for my Giveaway. and they are:

The Beas Knees
(Winning the Decoupage Garland)
AND
Tracie of Flutter By Gone
(Winning the Prim Garland)

Girls, you need to email me at VicWeave@aol.com with your addresses so I can get these goodies off to you tomorrow!
Thank you EVERYONE for stopping by and supporting me as you always do!
This blog has grown and I'm looking forward to a HUGE 300 Follower Giveaway!
I've also got a special Giveaway planned for February so please stay tuned as you really don't want to miss it!

Wow, thank you so much! We lived in Cape Coral, FL for 2 years and I was amazed at how many Bald Eagles lived in the pine trees in and around Cape Coral and the surrounding area.

Wonderful!

Congratulations to the two winners.
And thank you for the giveaway.
I watch the Decorah Eagle web cam every day/night. The couple is making their nest nice and full in anticipation for their eggs. I watched last year, totally enraptured while the eggs were laid, sat on and hatched. Through all the long days and nights of protecting them, feeding the eaglets and they successfully fledged all three of them!
They are a magnificent bird and very caring loving parents. And they mate for life, isn't that sweet?
Hugs,
Susan

Congratulations to The Beas Knees and Tracie and thank you Vicky for a wonderful giveaway. Great pic of your eagle, they are always around our place here in B.C. and we have an aerie in an old dead tree up on the hill behind us where they nest and raise their young each year. Love watching them play in the air, hooking talons and swirling, swirling, swirling down; it is amazing to watch! I am sure your painting will be wonderful, can't wait to see it!

Congratulations to two lucky ladies....Wow....I didn't realize I was THIS far behind (and then some) in my blog visits....So very, very, sorry....and see what I missed. Boo Hoo.... Love the eagle photos. When I see them, I think of the camera way too late...Not that it matters probably - I'm such a horrible photographer you'd be hard pressed to tell if it was an eagle or a chicken most likely. Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
