WINNERS!

Good Morning, Everyone!

I"ve got a few winning names to tell you about!
One of these days, someone is going to have to tell me the secret of how to display the little Random Number Generator. I've thought about taking a picture of it from my camera and then posting. I think I've seen some who have done that.
Despite the fact that I have no PROOF of the numbers chosen, I do have some winners! I tallied everyone up and counted carefully (several times to be sure!) and then let Random pick my winners.
#2--is NATALIE from "Tins and Treasures"

AND

#52-- is VALERIE from "Yorkie's Primitives"

CONGRATS WINNERS!!!

Make sure you go over and visit these gals and their great and insightful blogs!

Now girls, email me at VicWeave@aol.com and get me your addy by Monday so I can get these sent out to you!
We got our girl moved in yesterday and I'm feeling it a bit in my lower back today. I've got some wood to cut out so the minor pains will just have to be ignored.
"Paintspots and Splinters" is having it's 1st birthday this next month! WOW, a whole year back in business! It's been great so far! I think my favorite part has been joining two great Etsy teams:
I've met some wonderful people with some great talents and am enjoying every minute of it!!
Click on the links above and give everyone a visit! It's worth the time! PAFA actually has an interview of me! Little ol' ME!! Plus they're sure to announce the 11 winners of the Christmas celebration sometime today or tomorrow. This is the last day of the "Christmas in July" sales on Etsy so make sure you go to http://www.etsy.com and type in PAFACIJ in the search bar for ALL ITEMS. You'll see some wonderful Christmas Decor!

Thanks for your support of my blogging efforts! I really appreciate each and every one who takes the time to follow and those that stop by and leave a comment!!
Love and Blessings to each of you!!

Random Craftiness

GOODNESS, but the time just gets away from you, doesn't it?!

I've been busy; doing a little bit of  'this' and a little bit of 'that'.
Mostly decoupage and some signs....
...See? Just some random stuff with no rhyme or reason. I had a box of extra cut outs and have been using it up before I cut out the last piece of my MDF. I need to get back to Lowes and replenish my depleted wood pile.
Do you see the 'Jack'?

I have to laugh 'cause he was a mistake. No, not a 'happy accident' like Bob Ross says, because I wasn't very happy at the time! Oh, he's cute in his OOAK way but I couldn't replicate him if I tried! He has a twin brother with no legs so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with him. I think I'll try and cut the boots out of a bigger stock of wood and get his legs a bit straighter...or do you  prefer the 'pidgeon toed' look? Do you think he'd sell?
I also found something at our local $ Tree.
I got a STACK of these 'Wall Sayings' for just a buck a piece and I'm making some of these...
....for gifts.
This one goes to my 22 year old for her new apartment.
The saying suits her perfectly since she seems to be a OOAK herself!
There is one day left to enter my Giveaway found HERE  and also our PAFA Giveaway found HERE.
I'll be out most all day tomorrow getting that OOAK daughter moved in to her new apartment. I'll check back with you on Saturday morning to tell you who the winner is!!
Hope life is treating you well!
Stay Tuned!

A MID-SUMMER'S GIVEAWAY!!

I promised you something different this time...and I hope you like it. I enjoyed making this for you as it gave me a different painting experience. You see, I've never done this before. Oh no, not the sewing! I've been sewing since I was 15 but painting what I've sewn? Yeh, that's the different part...and it was SEW much fun!!
Here....
Let me show you!

This is a pattern from ThreadBarePrimitives.

She has some super cute Primitive patterns and easy ones for beginners, too! I definitely consider this a very easy pattern!
Of course, as I always do, I did things differently.

I didn't use burlap for the inside of my flowers.

I also didn't use an old rusted tin can for my pot 'cause if you know me, there's not much rusted tin stuff around my house that doesn't get thrown away! Oh, now look....I've gone and made you prim lovers faint....well, it's true although now, I'm changing my tune and rusting a few things on my own. But ONLY a few! Heaven help me if should ever store and hoard anything rusted!!
Brenda over at The Rusty Thimble sent me the cute printed tags. I also didn't grunge this up too much. I like my prims, "a little primmed up with a bit of 'grunge' on the side"! HA!

Well, it needs a home.
Want to provide one for it?
I sure hope you do since I made it for one of you!
Rules, rules, always rules but mine are simple.
1. BE A FOLLOWER or become one!
2. Leave a comment; just say hi if you need to!
3. Leave this on your sidebar for a third chance.
4. FB, Tweet; either/both of these will count for four chances.
Type them all up nice and neat in one comment if you can, please.
Also, if you're not a blogger, please leave your email so I can contact you.
This Giveaway will stay open until next Saturday, July 30th. Come back that morning and I'll tell you who the winner is!
This Giveaway is open to U.S. and Canadian friends only. (Shipping will break me to other places!)
Thanks for stopping by!

Something A Little Different....

I'm working on something a bit different for my next Giveaway. Something I haven't offered before.

I sat down with my material and sewing supplies and had somebody follow me. This little one is ALWAYS following mama around and being SO nosy!
I seem to be able to motivate her as she soon starts to copy me in some form or another.
I grew up in a home that had nothing more than some notebook paper and crayons so I have alot of art supplies on hand and they are easily accessible to the kids...except for the markers and scissors! I'm not that dumb!!
She wanted me to take a picture of her as I was taking a photo of my stuff. She likes to watch me blog and loves to see the other blogs that I visit, too! She loves Brenda' pups over at THE RUSTY THIMBLE. Wonder what blogging is going to be like when she gets to be my age? Blogs will probably be run through something like 'Skype' where you can talk face to face with each other. CRAZY to think that but it could be SO true as we already possess the technology!
I was cutting out some birds and this is where her creativity took her.
And my little man? Well, this is what he was doing....
This kid is always hungry and wants 'steak and butata' (potatoe)! He's as big as a minute and runs non-stop!
Anyway, I'm hoping to have something up by this Friday, maybe even Thursday. I'm cleaning up my desk and finishing up projects that were sitting in my 'cut wood' box. It's soooo hot outside and I'm trying not to cut anything new right now although a friend is coming over on Friday to paint. UUHHH, guess I'll have to cut at least one day for that one but it's always worth it with her! Nothing like a day of laughter and friendship to lighten our 'loads'!
Hope you have a good outlet to 'ease your burdens'.......'cause we all have them. Some are just bigger than others!!
Stay tuned!

A Win, Custom Work, and Shout Outs for Giveaways!

I won another Giveaway.
It was over at Debbie's Dodads for her 100th follower Giveaway.

She sent me a sweet card with a wonderful variety of goodies! The pillow is sooooo cute!

One particular item CRACKED me up! It was so pretty but I live in a hollow log and don't get out very much so I had no idea these things exist.
Do you know what this is? A book THONG. A BOOK THONG!!!! Laughed my HEAD off at the fact a book can have a THONG!
It's really quite pretty with some beautiful glass beads. I'm thinking Debbie may have made it but she didn't say. I'll have to ask her.
Know which book is wearing it? My BECK Diet Book!!! HA!! A great reminder to keep my glutias maximus  in gear! HA...still cracks me up!!

I've been working on an order of Santas and today I should finish them up.

The lady I'm doing these for bought 2 others from me in plaid coats and she wanted these 8 customized to her past Christmas themes. Well, okay, I can hang with that!! It's actually been alot of fun coming up with all of the little designs.
We're in our summer rainfall pattern, thank goodness, but that means I need to get out first thing to cut.....and sometimes this body doesn't understand 'first thing'. The heat has really stirred up my arthritis? Does it affect you, too? Well, I won't complain because we need the rain desperately!
Hope your summer is moving along nicely!
Remember to take a look at my right sidebar for the PAFA Team's Christmas Giveaway. And Deb at Paxton Valley has a beautiful garden sign up for a Giveaway, too. Brenda's is almost over with but truly worth putting your name in the pot as I have one of those adorable witches already! LOVE Brenda's creations! I'll have my own Giveaway up soon so make sure you stay tuned!
Thanks for stopping by and.....
HAVE  A GOOD ONE!!
