New Colors!

Sort of. I went from red and green last month to red and pink this month and now I'm working on green again. Am I in a rut? Let's hope Easter brings about some change for me. although I think mint green will still be around!

I'm going to be busy doing some of this work the rest of the week.

I'm a One Stroke Certified Instructor and I'll be teaching a class to some 13 ladies every Friday (thank goodness it want be Friday the 13th!!) through the month of February (I'll post a pic of the finished product later this week ). It's a fun technique and I'm sure we'll all have a blast .

A Valentine Giveaway! (CLOSED)

I finally got my act together and got a few things finished so I could share them with you. My family and I have been under the weather and it's been hard finding the time to work on my favorite hobby however, as time (and on occasion) medication permits, the sickness eventually leaves.

I don't know how many of you celebrate Valentine's Day. I acknowledge it with 'wink and a nod' every since I got pregnant with one of my 6, but I do love the colors and the idea of 'love effulgent, love divine'.

This busy buzzzzy bee has been around the block a few times....eeek, I forgot to glue his wings on before I took the pic!!

This set has been included in 4 different Treasuries on Etsy. They're cut from 1.5's and the lettering is vinyl...

I LOOOOOVVVE my Heart Garlands! This one's been decoupaged! It's about 30" long and the large heart is 11" in length.

This one's done up Prim-like! They're cut from rough pine plywood, sanded lightly, and then brushed with a couple of coats of different colors of paint. They're all wired together and tied off with homespun. This one has some burlap, too!!

Nearing the Finish

I've had a cold but I've managed to clean off my table of all things 'valentiney'. That's a good feeling when you accomplish what you set out to do. I've loaded these onto my Etsy store but I'm saving back some of the cuteness for you....at the end of this week.

It's getting cold here again and I can't get out to use my tools in weather below 50 degrees so my garlands will have to wait for a few more days.

I've already designed a couple of things for St. Pat's Day and my list is growing for all things Easter! Gosh, it just makes the months move that much faster when I think ahead like that!

Back to Work! (For Real This Time)

Yep, well neither do I!!

The 'sounds of silence' are in my home once again!

I've spent the New Year's weekend doing what I love best!

I started off by making a list...

...cutting out the shapes...

...sanding them down...

...stacking them up...

...and adding some color!

Lots of hearts, cupcakes, and sweetie pies, bumblebees, and teddy bears with there honey!

I'm hoping to have a Giveaway in about 2 weeks time. Holidays abound and there is ALWAYS something to celebrate! I'd sure like to share some with you!
